Spencer has been playing around Sudbury for over 12 years in a long list of bands as a singer, guitarist, drummer, and bass player. Phil and Zach are two longtime friends that have studied jazz together at Laurentian University. While they are both involved in the francophone and rock scene in the North, blues and jazz is a part of their roots - and they love doing what they do best.
Harvey King & The Grindstone began as a passion project of vocalist Will Himsl and guitarist Sam King. With humble beginnings in the basement of a downtown barbershop, proving as an excellent rehearsal space, the two began writing material in late 2018.
Recognizing the opportunity to fuse soul and rock and roll, this duo recruited local artists, with Alex Pauzé on drums, Matt Saroka on lead guitar, Sean Brouse on bass, Kris Harris on keys, Andrea Solski and Darquise Lauzon on backup vocals. The group began crafting the songs for what would become the EP and the upcoming LP.

The four-song EP offers a glimpse into the energy and diversity of the band's stylings and previews their full-length album.
The band released its first video for the single ‘Get Gone’ on August 6, 2021, which was filmed and produced by Justin Lamothe, Josh Desormeaux, and Curt Carriere of Midnight Society Productions.
HKGS’s highly anticipated full-length album is being tracked at Deadpan Studios in Sudbury, ON with recording engineer Matthew Wiewel at the helm. The band is currently putting the final touches on the album and is slated for release in early 2022.
Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company are an independent and psychedelic folk rock band based out of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. The group is fronted by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Chanelle Albert, who is accompanied by Andrew Gagnon on drums, and Jacob Tyler on Bass. Their craft is greatly influenced by artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Moody Blues, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
